i think the most i've spent on pants only was about $130-150 ... and i have yet to find pants that i absolutely love
some RL purple label wool pants came close but i passed because they were like $250 on sale or something

depending on the fabric, the wool ones are $215 - $235... there are some more expensive ones, harris tweed, etc. and some cheaper ones, cotton which are around $165. i agree with you on the pants price thing. i don't know if i've ever spend more than $150 on pants, and after never finding any i really liked, i made the plunge. completely satisfied.

that's the thing
i think i just have to suck it up ... because i did really like the RLPL pants .. just not the price
so they're out there.. just not in the under $150 range most of the time

nordstroms rack just opened up near me, heard they have a handful of good deals, lots of AE's as well. Neumora for $200, if I can find my size in brown, I would get those in a heart beat. Still love them with slim gray dress pants

Just ordered Saphir Renovateur and Saphir neutral cordovan polish, i can't believe how much darker the strands got after 5 months and two applications of their dark brown cordovan cream. We'll see about that!

nordy rack is good for emergencies when you just need to walk in and grab something without looking for a sale
never found anything that was an amazing deal
can often find something better for same or less at regular nordstrom or similar stores on sale

and one time i got a $10 off coupon from nordy rack... don't even know why
so i bought 2 shoe trees for $15

yeah it's legit merchandise
i have seen some current season items at nordy rack as well... like these shoes that my dad bought in regular nordstrom
$50 less at the nordy rack
they had some scuffs from probably being tried on at the store but nothing to indicate that they were seconds or anything else was wrong with them

Yesterday's outfit. Not included: matching navy pants and black Alden for BB LHS.

Four in hand. I wear spread collars and the knot is proportional to the space.

Pratt knot is my favorite, similar to half windsor but it's cleaner looking imo
