AUX location ideas
I am probably going to get flamed for this but I did do a google search and I could not find any that talks about possible locations for AUX.
Any suggestions? Some people have it in their Euro tray and some people have it where the heated seat buttons are. Thanks in advance!

I have mine going to the bar where the heated seats are. I like it there because the orange ambient lighting is able to light it up just enough to see when it's dark so I can plug the cord in.

dont think you search hard enough, but anyway.. possible locations: glove box, by climate buttons, center console it really depends on you.. I have mine in the center console..

I prefer the factory location, in the glovebox. I then ran a long male/male aux cable to where my phone usually sits, in the cupholder.

Get a short cord and put it back in the box. I'm on Pandora and the signal doesn't cut out.

I think I might run it in my glove box or in the storage box under the climate control buttons.

In the coin tray is where I wired mine. It was super easy, and my phone sits in the cupholder anyways.

I considered a number of spots...glove box, HK/DSC button panel, etc. but finally settled on euro tray and ran the cable up thru the center console and to the back of the tray. i can completely conceal the ipod when not in the car and control it easily when i am.

This is the reason why I bought a euro tray. (Still waiting for fedex to deliver it) Should be able to finish this mod this weekend. I have a dice that is mounted under the glovebox/footwell area and an aux and ipod dock cable running through the passenger side panel of the center console. The aux will be routed inside the tray for when I want to use pandora on my phone. The hk/dsc panel area looks oem but with the cable it doesn't look clean. I don't like having cables around the shifter(even though my car is automatic.

I put mine here as well. It is not only extremely clean (looks factory), but easy to run the aux input wire to this location. The hardest part is taking the button panel apart. I just cut out the back with a dremel, then used a dremel cone shaped bit to drill the hole (I didn't have a proper drill bit set). I just measured the aux input with calipers and measured the dremel bit and found it was perfect. This is by far the best location. You could maybe put it in the back of the tray under the armrest also. I would NOT put the input in a vertical orientation. This is just asking for **** to get in the hole.
