I'm trying to change my front turn signals. I went to advanced auto parts and first they gave me 7506. When I tried them they didn't fit. The original bulbs in car are 7507 but according to this link those are the size for the back turn signals. I also am having trouble removing one of the bulbs from socket. Can someone get me through this confusion

Another thing that's weird is my original bulbs that stopped working don't seem dead?

Your car has clear front signals if it uses 7507 bulbs. 7506 go behind amber lenses. The reason they don't fit is because the bumps on the side are offset differently.

It's very common for good bulbs not to light up due to corroded or loose contacts. Take out the sockets and clean them up, then bend them so they press against the bulb base tight.
