Have a cooling system leak? Read this first.

I have to replace my Automatic transmission thermostat on mine and it fix my leak. Hope this help someone

But, BM, if you just did the radiator, the other possibility is that you either got the radiator for the wrong car (manny and auto rads. are different if you got the Behr)...or if you got OE radiator, then there's a leveling screw that changes it for manny/auto.

There've been a number of posts where the leak comes down where you're seeing it (sort of)...and it's from the radiator itself.

Thank again D. The rad is BEHR and I quadruple checked it was the correct auto rad for my car.. Even when looking under car and can see the leak coming off the tran cooler but can't tell since the trans cooler is in the way. BTW it only leaks when the ET tank is full and I've been driving car for a good 30min trip. I'm hoping someone can chime on on this O-ring issue. I have a strange feeling its coming from there. BTW I did install a new Tranny T-Stat.

I've got brand new ET right here with me, and I can se o-rings in the bigger AND smaller hole. Since it is not aftermarket ET, I presume that's the way it should be. I know it's kind of an old thread, but maybe it will help someone.

You ever find that leak, bm-man? It really did sound like the common 'wrong radiator' leak...I know it's a pain to deal with stuff like that.
