The drive home was sketchy there was ice and crazy thick fog. Glad to hear the vert up and running. Congrats!

When the gauges & everything shut off, did the engine shut off too or was it still running like normal?

Everything was running normally, even the radio. The only thing affected that I could tell was the gauge cluster.

Hmmm, did u check the fuse, just as a first step?
Next I would check the gauge cluster connection in the back of the dash. Super easy to remove and check. Did u recently install anything where u might have pulled on that wiring harness?

Haven't checked the fuses yet.

Nope, no recent installs. The only thing I can think of is the recent rain caused a short in a sensor somewhere. A similar thing happened to my mom's Sequoia last year with regards to a sensor. It rained and suddenly she had an O2 sensor short out.
