Guy scammed me/found out a way to meet him.
So I tried buying a fairly expensive guitar offline from what seemed like a reputable seller with pictures and previous posts only to be left without a response once the money was sent and I doubt Paypal is going to find it and refund it to me. Did some deep Googling on his e-mail and found on a forum that he was asking for oxy/downers and would meet somebody for them (stand up guy I know.) You all seem to be experts in the law/courses of action in these situations.
So OT... wat do? |

Doesnt paypal cover this sort of thing? I thought that was the whole reason we used PayPal lol. If you do something like that (sting operation lol) you should probably get the police? Idk.

So you want to confront a drug addict and demand cash money be returned that you sent electronicaly? Doesn't sound like it could ever come to a positive conclusion no matter how it went down.

I did send the payment for goods. I didn't know Paypal could still refund it I assumed that he had transferred it out of his account the day I sent it. I already filed my claim just like I said thought they wouldn't be able to find the money. Crisis averted.
