safa117 Registered User Join Date: Jun 2012 Location: califonia Posts: 4 My Ride: 02 M3 View My Garage	S54 Knock problem or just rebuild the engine hello everyone, i have an 02 M3 S54 6SP w/153k. it throws the Vanos code and my mechanic told me $3100 to fix it. at this milage and cost i am thinking it may be better to find a lower milage engine and replace it or i am afraid the cost will too high to rebuild the engine. i love this car and i appreciate if you give me some idea what to do and where i can find these solutions. i live in So California. thanks
