I have bottle of water wetter. Should I throw it in today when I do a coolant flush? I know winter is coming up but it doesn't get that cold in SoCal. Should I just throw it in?

Cleaned ICV/TB/Disa. What a pain it was to take out the clamps from the boots! What should have been a 2 hour job spanned 2 days. Took her for a test drive and so far so good. BTW, did I screw up my DISA valve by cleaning it with carb cleaner? I only later saw that the stuff was not plastic safe. I did spray it with deep creep after that. How long does carb cleaner stay on and affect plastics?

Today I performed an oil service with a new drain plug, and replaced both my engine air filter and cabin air microfilter. All genuine BMW parts and fluids.

Installed my Infinity Basslink today. I couldn't be happier with it. Got a good balanced sound now. It's perfect.

How much are rims like those? My mechanic has some ones that look almost identical with brand new tires on them and he's asking for $1,000. Is it worth it for the set?

It depends if they're OEM/what brand they are.

Those are called CSL style wheels. Most people here tend to go with the VMR VB3. There are several other brands that have good offerings as well. They are around $800 new plus tires. You can also get cheap Ebay CSL reps for $400-500. I wouldn't want those though.

My Ride: Fst'r then your e46
I was bored so I cleaned up the interior, repolished wheels, fixed little stuff here and there like the seat belt tensioner( it wasnt coiling back up when passenger unbuckled the clip).
Degreased the oil buildup below the VCG. will be attacking this DIY this weekend.
