Installed New H7 Bulbs/Adjusted vertical beam height
Hey thanks to anyone who has posted any DIY stuff here. I have found it very useful especially when I changed out my H7 bulbs and adjusted the vertical beam height. I can see the road a lot better at night. One curious thing I noticed when changing the bulbs....the plastic housing holding the brown and yellow wire connectors practically disintegrated when I disconnected them from the bulbs. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be concerned? I'm now wondering what other parts of the car is made out of the same plastic.

Might have degraded due to time and heat. It might be possible to find a wire kit to replace them from ecs tuning. Check Realoem for the wiring diagrams or buy a used harness online and splice in the new wires.

I just found it a little odd since everything under the hood looks brand spanking new. I understand it was detailed at the Audi dealer before I purchased it but there are even no stains/residue of any type anywhere. For now, I just connected the wires to the bulbs since the individual connectors are in excellent shape.
