E46 m3 2001 dead pixels on cluster

I know this is a common issue but whenever I look for the ribbon cable I cannot find the e46 one just e38 and stuff like that.
Are they the same?
If not where can I buy that ribbon cable from?

As far as I know, this was never a common problem on E46's but on the E38 and 39's.

I have also never heard of it being a problem with the e46s - but it wouldn't surprise me if they use the same supplier for the clusters as they did in previous/different models.... Bummer to hear about the pixel issue, super annoying for sure !

Dang that's why I can't find it for the e46, my digital screen is a bit scrambled and like lights up and down randomly
