Well the wife and I were looking for a new daily driver. We've always loved BMW's. We happened across one on the used car lot at our local Honda dealer. 2001 330i with 54,000 miles on it with a single owner. Older lady. Dealer let us take it for the night to test. Mechanically the engine felt strong, transmission was smooth and the handling was crisp. The body looked practically brand new and the seats showed little to no wear on them.

Only issues I found was the sunroof's sun shade was off it's rails, no biggie really, the fabric on the driver side c-piller was coming off, easy fix.

She gave the dealership all the paperwork from the maintenance she had done on it also. Now in my possesion. Going through it, it has suffered pretty much all the expected issues...cam sensors, window regulators, washer fluid pump...

Fortunately I'm pretty handy around cars and it all looks easy enough from what I have read in the DIY's.

So far we love the car and are really pleased with it. Just need wider tires
