it's my parent's bathroom; my dad kinda lets my mom just do whatever she wants with it.

i thought the jacket looked decent (but a bit small), but it felt tight/restrictive. not so restrictive that it was uncomfortable, but restrictive nonetheless

as much as possible
there has been the trend of short jacket .. resist it ..
there is also a little trick to making yourself look taller by getting slightly shorter jacket which can make your legs look longer ... but even then your jacket should cover at least 60% of your ass
i'd shoot for 75% or more coverage

Suit I wore for my presentation and networking event today! It's a little big depending on the position I'm in, but in person it flows with my build/height a bit better.

Any recommendations, should I pull in the torso a tad?

^i think i read somewhere that the bottom of the jacket should be lined with the knuckle of your thumb or something like that. is this completely off-base?

It looks a little big across the shoulders. You could take the waist in a bit as well so it's not so boxy.

Yea the waist I meant. It's actually my dad's old suit, and he's quite a bit broader than me. My two options were to work out my shoulders more or cut the padding so I thought shoulders were a better option. When I hold the phone like that it makes it look worse. When I'm standing straight it's a bit better

There's very little you can do to alter the shoulders in a suit, so if you can fill it out, that's for the best. Definitely don't try cutting out padding--it will just make the shoulders sag and make the whole thing look terrible.

It's only part of it
I think ass coverage trumps cupped hand/knuckle length
Because people have long and short limbs
More important to just cover your ass
Otherwise it looks like a woman's jacket

+1 Something on there looks pretty big and can be taken in abit more!

That is WAY too long. Classic bad Men's Wearhouse advice. You should always show a little shirt cuff.

Btw I was just curious, mainly about the shopaholics in this thread: what is the average price per article of clothing for you guys here? Personally, my clothes are relatively cheap because I wait for sales on everything. On average, for me:
Dress shirts: $25
Pants/jeans: $50
T-shirts: $15
Shoes: $80
