HOW??? I have the clip off, but the damn thing just won't come off the radiator!! I tried the search, but nothing on the first couple of pages specified anything about the bottom hose.
Does anybody out there have any suggestions, other than cutting the hose off? I'm replacing the radiator, & the hose is only about 1 year old, so I'd rather not replace that again. Anybody??

I replaced mine yesterday. Had to hammer it off with a chisel. It took about an hour. I tried pulling expansion tank to get to it. I couldn't get it out either. Keep at it. The new one went on with a little effort.

You could leave the end attached to the radiator side and work on it after u get the rad out. Mine was leaking and the hose came off the plastic mount by the time I was done

I tried pulling it out w/ the hose still connected to the rad, but no dice.

No dice? I'm sure you undid the other end. Once it's out of the car it would be easier to get undone. I can't think of much else. You can't twist it as it has ribs
I was close to towing my car somewhere as I had about given up on getting hose off. It was that difficult. I did the lower rad hose as well. That was stuck pretty good too. |

It's a pain in the @ss. Lots of swearing involved, eventually got mine off just pulling and twisting.

the first time i got mine off lying underneath yanking and swearing alot until i got a nice coolant shower. the second time i had a large friend help. the 3rd time i removed my entire front bumper/support ext. and it came right off. i would honestly consider removing the whole front end again if i do it again. it takes about 30 min to get the front end off and saves alot of frustration

Interesting... Is there a diy on removing the front? I have to get it off soon. All parts should be arriving in a couple days.

it is very easy. Just WIGGLE...WIGGLE...WIGGLE and WIGGLE.
after about 5 mins of wiggling the hoses will come off. |

Finally got it off!! I used a larger screw driver & wedged it out evenly all the way around nice & slow. Hoping my radiator shows up on Mon or Tues so I can put this all back together!
