Lighting

I have a 99 e46 323i and from time to time the little indicator in the dash instrument cluster will show a tail light is out and then either turn off or require me to disconnect the tail light cluster and it will resolve that way.

Also my turn signal will flash quickly and then at a normal pace. This will happen either with the dash indicator or not.

Anyone have experience with this.

Check the wire harness going to the tail lights. Most likely the area by one of the pins is melted.
