Some issues with trunk

So started up a car today for a drive. Noticed trunk wouldn't open with key, inside button or trunk button.
Opened it with the key and then closed. Tried again to open with key, trunk button and interior button. Bam! Worked just fine.

After 10 minutes (or engine off and on) whole thing re-occurs.

General electronics module?

Might be in Valet Mode?? and remember that the trunk will not open from the outside trunk button unless all doors are unlocked.

Check for broken or almost broken wires in the wire harness between the trunk lid and trunk. Very common problem.

And fix is to splice new section of wire into the line as harness is prohibitive and impossible to install. Not literally.
DIY's have been written.

Had no idea what Valet Mode is until googled it. Turns out that's not it.
Going to check wire harness between the trunk lid and trunk tomorrow

Intermittent electrical problems are the most difficult to find.
