A lot of hookah tobacco doesn't have any nicotine or tar, I smoke Starbuzz (blue mist, citrus mint, citrus mist) and those have 0.05% nicotine and 0% tar.

Also when you light the charcoal, let it burn until its completely gray. That will burn out the chemicals they use to quick start it.

You understand that tar and nicotine aren't the only chemical compounds in tobacco, right? And not having a lot of them doesn't make inhaling smoke healthy.

Exactly. There is about 3800 chemicals in tobacco, 60% of which are carcinogens and nicotine itself is NOT one of them.
