I just gave my engine its daily deep inspection and rub down (i'm not kidding) My goal is to make sure after touching every reasonably accessible part of the engine, that there's no trace of dirt on my hands. Today I passed that test.

+1 I've done multiple full motor details and people say I'm crazy. you can eat off my engine

New front control arms, bushings, tie rods and sway bar links (a FCP front suspension package consisting of all Lemforder parts) + BMW coolant and a new Wahler thermostat (the only code my car was throwin' was thermostat stuck open). My control arm bushings were shot and braking to a stop would pull the wheels forward and to the left...this thing handles like a dream now!! So happy!

Today ordered 2 new lemforder tie rod assemblies. My friend who did the alignment last week said they were fine, but I don't believe him. My steering is really tight sometimes and really loose sometimes and I do hear some clunking in the front when turning the wheel. Regardless if they are fine... I don't know how old they are. Don't trust them.

Ordering my new struts/shocks next week too. Very excited.

Working on custom canards (just an experimental project) not keeping them on unless at autocross or the track. Washes her and started to design a turbo manifold.
