trying to picture this

picture one of those flying squirrels ... with weblike wing under the arms
if a suit jacket has low armholes, when you raise your arms, there will be a winglike flap between the sleeve and the body of the jacket
(the majority of the mass produced jackets you find will have low armholes .. because they are made to fit as many different bodytypes as possible off the rack aka fat people or people who used to play sports and now they just have a really stocky torso and big arms)
a higher armhole allows for smoother movement of the arms and will not give you the flying squirrel wings

Higher arm holes like tapering the sleeves?

it's not that I'm against spending; i just don't like spending when I'm not confident in my purchase and I'm really style-stupid right now.

Lol not to worry; I already made that mistake 2 years ago when I needed a new suit for job interviews. Trying not to make it again.

Take imola and go to BB, suit supply, and wherever else around nyc and find a suit that fits you

Thanks! I will try. I'm supposed to sing in church on Sunday so hopefully I can avoid getting sick.

Went and checked out my 1,000 mile boots at the store yesterday. Very nice... Can't wait til Christmas to actually be able to wear them.
