I'm a freelance appraiser. I write estimates on crashed cars and also write diminshed value claims for vehicle owners. Combines three of my great loves - travel, cars, and catastrophe.

The bonus is - most of my old clients were on the wholesale end of the equation, and I still work with them.

It'd be nice to own my own company, but at my age I'm perfectly happy climbing the corporate ladder. Money/benefits are good, with low-to-mid stress levels.

not for nothing, and no disrespect to your line of work, but when did being an appraiser become a dream job. my friend does it and its not all glitz and glamour. a lot of paper work, and the traveling is driving long distance in your own vehicle during the day. i don't know about you, but i'd hate to be in traffic all damn day.
