I had a guy in an 80's Ford truck do this for me at In & Out a few weeks ago, I think he saw me moving my mirrors getting ready for him (never the less it lighting up my whole cabin). A rare courtesy I appreciated. I would imagine it's better for your battery too.

I like to let other people know that I think they're number one in my book.

When I see road hazards ahead I will turn on my hazard blinkers so that the cars behind me know that something is on the road
