Had the day off of work.....
APC jeans Bayfield boots light blue OCBD with a light gray sweater over that. In other news, I had to send my Daltons back to AE because the tongue on the left boot was all messed up. It kept shifting over to the outside portion of the boot so much so that you could see my sock through the laces. I wasn't sure if it was a defect, or what, but apparently the problem was due to my instep. They're bonding the tongue and sending them back. Anyone else have a problem like this with boots? In other OTHER news, there's a day in December that the wife gets 40% off of all items in the store (Nordstrom), so I'm currently figuring out what to purchase. I'm thinking a pair of AE's....possibly park ave's or 5th aves in dark brown (I can order anything out of the AE catalog), a Tumi Suitcase, and maybe a pair of Blundstone boots.....I'm undecided on that.

![]() The misses would shoot me if I did that, lol. One of those will be a purchase next year, in any event. Did your prior issue with the 1K's never get resolved?

YES. That's my thought. Astonishingly comfortable and well made. I've read the Kudu is great for foul weather.

I'll probably get them repaired, sell them, and never purchase from Wolverine again. They've proven, without a doubt, they are not on the level they're trying for.

Pattern is good. Looks like a skinny tie though.

I bought a pair of 744 LTD seconds. They were seconds bc they had a minor defect (wrinkle) on the shaft of one boot. After 10-15 wears, the toe cap literally started coming off - it wasn't stitched on properly. I understand that I purchased seconds, but they were still $609 and Wolverine's answer was basically "tough." If Wolverine wants to be a legitimate player in this space, this ain't gonna fly. The same things that might work on $100 boots don't work when you're selling boots that, when discounted, are still higher than an average car payment.

Alden whiskey leisure hand sewn at the Willis Tower Sky Deck yesterday.
I'm not afraid of heights but this made me pause for a second.

Mine are also $350 and not $600, so that makes me a little more comfortable too. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Bimmer App |

How hard is it to alter a 40L to a 40R?
BB has some killer deals, but I'm a 40R with 33 waist, 33 in seam. How much work would it take to shorten up a 40L to me? |
