Currently? $2100/month. For the next 4 years of med school? -$4200/month. Next 7 years of residency? $4300/month. After, in 11 or so years? $20,000/month. Nice to have a plan.

Planning on being a neurosurgeon or IR? And resident salary is more like 2500 a month.

The only reason I ask because I took your advice a couple of years ago regarding to public accounting. I think you were a PWC alumni. I'm on my 4th year - senior for 1 year in tax and I never regretted staying.

I have both licenses. Yeah, I do some realtor stuff on the side and used it when I bought my house to get all of the commission. I did a 4 year stint at PWC in the audit department.

Are we talking how much I bring home before tax, after tax, before benefits, after benefits, retirement, etc?

Gross is 12k a month between my wife and myself. Net...well...my expense account gets 125 dollars a month. That's all the play money I give myself. :-(

The one that brings in 65k per month is a trucking company in ND. I put up the cash to start but don't run the day to day operations. I own 50% of the company. It's only been pulling in 130k(net not gross) per month starting in the summer. Now that it's winter that will get cut in half because the trucks cant operate when it gets to cold.

My 8-5 is an IT consulting job that I really enjoy it.
