I watched the fights...

Pretty entertaining... not too much horseshiz dancing around throughout the night . I think the fight of the night was the 1st flyweight title fight- as those guys were beating the crap out of one another. "Might Mouse" wasn't favored but came out on top!

The main event was entertaining- and SHOULD have been over in the FIRST ROUND when Vitor had an inverted armbar past the point of hyper-extension on Jones, in which he later said "I kept flexing the lock, and we both felt popping and snapping, but he [Jones] didn't tap".

You've got to give it to Jones, if he is crazy enough to fight through that kind of pain. Furthermore, I wasn't expecting it, but to see the fight end with submission was awesome. I also am a sucker for any fight that ends in submission & tap out- as I really don't enjoy boxing matches in the ring.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a minimum of 6 months between this fight and the next "title" fight while Jones' arm heals, surgically or not.

Hahah, he's known for those vicious things. Lanky mofo just whips those 'bows around and they cause some serious devastation!

Also, the lanky kicks he threw the entire fight towards Vitor's knees kept him off balance the majority of the fight- but I love Vitor's (mostly unseen last night) get in there and brawl fighting style... and who can forget that gorilla kick to the solar plexus! Vitor went completely limp about 3 seconds later!

I love diverse fighting styles (not "black on black violence" )- and hate stand-up strike fights for 25 minutes, so fortunately I got what I wanted to last night.

Dana pretty much already said he would throw an offer at Silva he can't refuse to fight GSP or Bones Jones...... Silva is playing that "not about the money" card though....

Nice!

My first one was 103...seemed like every fight ended in a KO. The energy at a live event is insane

Who is watching the fights tonight? Its supposed to be the best card on free tv by far. Its a must see.
Any predictions?
I think Henderson will defeat nate with his wrestling, Shogun rua will knock gustafsson out, and Penn will lose to Rory.

You were two for three. not bad.

Definately a great show. I'm glad Rory beat Penn. I respect the guy, but he should know when to leave. He's like 1-4 in his last fights.

I really wasn't expecting Gustafsson, honestly didn't know too much about him. but it was entertaining. Some of the commentators were calling for a Jon Jones fight.

As for Henderson. I love that guy, his attitude, his versatility, his creativity. I can't stand Nate Diaz. How the hell does he warrant a championship fight for lightweight and welterweight. I'm guessing the weight cut really hurt him, but facing GSP, he stands to be man handled even more from a bigger, stronger, more talented wrestler. But Henderson has much superior striking to GSP that seemed to keep Diaz at bay.

I thought Nate's brother, Nick, is facing GSP for the belt?
