Jake's M - 60-130 - 5.475 Seconds!
Got rid of swiss cheese looking MT's and went back to Nitto 555R's. Pulled a 5.475 last nite
(previous best was 5.6). |

Thanks. Rules allow 3% decline
but only good spot I've found is as flat as Texas! |

Wow! WOW! Great job Jake, that is FAST! Add some decline and you'll be even a little bit closer to 4's, which is in the league of some insanely fast cars!

Impressive Jake! Looks like I need drag radials if I want to compete with that!

Yeah, I like Nittos. This is my second set of 555s. Not quite as sticky as MT's in 1st and 2nd, but still solid, and every bit as good in 3 and 4. Considerably more stable up high. My last set lasted a long time. Never tried the 05s.

Can't compare a drag radial to a street tire but I'd have to say NT05R>555R>NT05

I did a 5.12 in my M3, but this was an all out drag car with an auto. That just goes to show how fast Jake's M3 really is. Here's my graph with an auto..

According to 6speedonline, 4.23 is the fastest for an e46 m3. Maybe Jake's might be the fastest in a certain region, but not the record.
