Yes, exactly. Seems like it was never a good idea, if it was to do with keeping gas out of a stopped engine. Unless it was an electric fuel pump. But I think it was just style, like smoking all the time and leaving half-finished drinks with huge tips on the bar.

Sadly, I still do this out of habbit. Had a 72 buick that was hell to start sometimes. Had a 455 in it but I dont redline or anything just rev like 2 or 3k.

I just thought it was funny because I haven't thought of an apex seal since my buddy had his FB RX-7 back in high school. I feel like we disassembled the engine to do apex seals on that damn thing every month

No, and it has nothing to do with no return line from the fuel rail. Shanneba gave a good explanation, and the key words to acknowledge are emission optimized. Letting gasoline evaporate is wasteful and is not good for the environment.

Wrong/ the burn off feature on ms 43 has render the return line from the fuel rail obsolete .

Agreed. I actually watched Casino Royale after watching Skyfall again to confirm I still like Daniel Craig.

Daniel Craig is pretty good Bond.

He is handsome but a bit too muscular to be Bond.
Although he is quite a downsize from the 6' 2" Bonds in the past.

He's really serious. I like that in a Bond.
