Do the VB3's have more concaveness than my 718's?
It seems like they do in this picture -

I would say no. The difference between the two is in the design of the spokes. The VB3 spokes are more linear and drop straight in towards the center. With the V718, the spokes are more curved and the concavity progresses as it moves inward. This plays into the look of the wheel, making it appear more aggressive and concave

Freddie@VMR - I'm about to order some 705's. 18 x 9.5 rears with 245/35 or 255/35 tire. Car will have Eibach Sportline springs, it's an 05 325Ci. No mods done to fenders.

Should I order 35 offset, or should I go 45 offset and experiment with spacers to get flush or almost flush?

Thanks for the help.

I would recommend the 45 offset. That way, at most you would have to run a small spacer. One thing I did want you to be aware of is that the v705s are only manufactured in 19" sizing. However that wont affect offset or fitment.

That changes things then, I love the look of that wheel. When did you stop making them, your site still shows them in 18" actually.

My second choice is the 701, is that available in 18"? Does the same offset recommendation apply in the rear for the 701?

Yes indeed it does still apply! Also, we do manufacture the V701s in 18" sizing. Shoot me a PM and we can go over more details.

Was that about a 1.5" drop from sport suspension?

From the sport suspension? Maybe it's just me but that doesn't look like a 1.5" drop in your sig.. maybe an inch.. or maybe it is?

I never did measure it before or after, I just know that it is definitely much lower than before. I had to roll my fenders up front so it wouldn't rub on bumps. It's much better now though
