should have made it worse by giving him a speeding ticket afterwards

so this is what happens when your "orange" bulb is really old
and the contact point is all melted

the bulb was out on the driver side ... but replacing the bulb didn't fix it
i put in new bulbs for both sides but original problem socket won't light up unless if i push the bulb in and hold it in with some pressure
i swapped the turn signal sockets for now since i need a visible LEFT turn signal in the front, not so much for the right

nah, it's not because the bulb is old. it's because the bulb is running too hot. just pull the metal tab up on the bottom with a flat. that should give it enough contact for it to work.

Those sockets are known to go bad. It's like $10 for a replacement.

Unless the socket is starting to break. Then just replace that thing.

my 6 is in bad shape. it randomly sputters now as im driving feels like not all 6 pistons are working. borrowed the e46 to come to work today going to take a deeper look during thanks giving day weekend.
