Matte white cars - worth the trouble?

Why not vinyl it gloss white.

Plastidip it. Will look just as good if not better, cost 1/6th of the price, and can be removed or touched up in 15 minutes. I did my s2000 last year in flat red.

Go here, they have everything you need to know and buy....they did aston martin's, GTRs, etc...not just rice rocket CRX Hondas.

My s2000....it was my first time doing it, and I did it on a very cold morning, so the results were not perfect, but it still looked awesome. Protected the paint from bugs, rockchips, dirt, etc, and when I got home (took it for a week at the dragon) I peeled it all off. My Jeep I have my front done for over a year now, without a scratch, and it has been through salt, snow, rocks, leaves, branches, mud, dirt, etc.







MY front grill is dipped, and takes more punishment (damn near vertical at 90 degrees) than anything most cars take.

Color spectrum is endless. You can buy off the shelf colors or mix your own.

Ok no offense but plastidipping your car seems stupid because I found plastidip to be a total pain in the ass to remove

Lol I don't think I would dip my car, rather something to play around with for smaller accessories (fenders, grill, etc)

Yeah I bet, no use spending that type of money for something that will be a hassle to take care of

I'm leaning towards leaving the car as is and see how the wheels look with the car as is, I'm going to go ahead and put the new wheels on tomorrow and see how it works

Just FYi, Mercedes actually offers quite a few matte colors from the factory now for their AMG cars.

Yup. I was actually inspired by the color when I first saw the IWC AMG last year

If you put it on properly, and the proper amount of coats, it comes off easily and in one big piece.

About 5 hours. Most was taping off and waiting for it to dry.

Thats not even a bad job...that's a sh!t job.

Matte black=Sh*t...can't stand it makes me sick.

Matte white...eh? Cant really see a difference from regular white unless you look close. But thats just my thoughts

Matte gray....love it!


Guess its really a personal opinion thing?

Just plastidip your whole car, it's cheap and if you don't like it, it's easy to remove.
