Just add any shield or skin to your liking, if damaged just switch it out instead of the whole case = best of both worlds.

I got something like that yesterday, light use I'm seeing close to 40-48hrs between charges. Today I tore through the battery, TONS of GPS use and music playing along with a crap-load of googleing and such. Still at 1% and its been off the charger since about 8:30am this morning so I'm pretty stoked! MUCH MUCH better then my droid, it would have died in about 3hrs doing that...

Yeah it was, but the day isn't over yet. There was a lot of standby time evident in that previous screen print. I've been talking on the phone a lot today though.
