this could be the most epic thread ever. All the big guns are coming out of the wood work to meet at this thread and talk about what needs to be done to make our m3's faster than any other street car from 60-130. i cant wait to see that sub 3.5 run!

anyone interested in seeing a sedan do a sub 5 run? My piggy bank is slowly filling up and my swap is nearing completion

Sounds exciting. Wish you luck.

On a sedan E46, you need to play around the wheel arches to fit meaty tires, otherwise sub 5 seconds will be a daydream.

I would advise you to start thinking about the wheel/tire/wheel arch combination.... Just get some beefy tires, tallest possible ones, and you ll be hooking up.

We tested my E46 M3 TT yesterday, all I can say is sub 4 s times are coming. Just need warm road surfaces, yesterday it was 13 Celcius Degrees.

moderators would you please make it sticky?

GTR, Porsche have their own 60-130 list as sticky. we should have our own 60-130 list as sticky as well.

I am motivated to go sub 3 seconds this year more air more fuel going into my S54

I dont want to generalize a highspeed measuring graph as some ruler/yardstick. comments are welcomed

I do enjoy seeing graph compared against other supercars that members themselves often post.

If you maybe nominate someone to take up the task I would gladly consider it as I do not have the resources to upload/check/gather DB files and fall into the 80 percent(85%?) of the people who can barely understand the graphs, but make sense of the number.

The thread itself is welcomed and I see youre well driven to make it great so I do want to see great results.

I volunteer to receive dbn files, verify and post, and add short comments.

I devoted my last 5 years to this test and would like to take responsibility.

It may have been before my time on E46F (but I've been at least lurking on E46F, if not posting, for a while), but has anyone actually seen the VBOX file or Video of Mert's 60-130 run? I've seen his time posted on a good number of forums, but never the file or a video of the run.

Sweet action, just always wondered. I know on some forums where tehse numbers are taken seriously, they tend to have more than just a few perameters that have to be met for it to be a kosher run.

Well, Marcus did say he filmed it with a potato, so...

I like when people give there opinions on a forum. I know how this will turn out and what the opinions will look like when it does

To fake a 60-130 on a vbox or pbox is impossible.

Out of 4 M3s of mine I have worked on 2 of them.

E36 M3 TT has 4.49 s and
E46 M3 TT has 4.23 s

both cars have similar setups and similar weights.

My 60-130 video is also on forums.

Someone WHO has found a fake way of doing fast 60-130 times would not spend 100.000 + USD on a new all Wheel drive Project. That cheater would just tweak the vbox instead of working on his M3 (sedan).

I thought you wanted peace, is this how you want peace by blaming fake 60-130 times.

Why are you using a quote from another thread on this thread and why are you addressing me? Did I say you faked anything? I made a comparison between drag racing, 60-130 and dyno. Why did you assume that I meant your time was fake? If you're felling guilty about something leave me out of it.

Mach the moderator moved them to get the discussion out of your turbo kit thread...chill out man and show us how a SAAD built motor can put down 950rwhp on a 6766 and 1150rwhp on a 7175.

Jason's (Chase)old car has already done it and Garth is the one that did the dyno. I'll ask him to post it up for everyone.

my user name is twinturbom3.

You need to submit dbn files to the mods.

You may also check

http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=189369

If you read from beginning, I started with 5,07 s. Then 5,04s. then 4,93 s. then 4,65. 4,49 s. 4,23 s.

I do have at least 100 dbn files ranging from 4,23 s to 4,93 s. at least 100 dbns.

Lets see what the new all Wheel drive sedan m3 will do.

To have some reference contact Providence (Baris with HPF stage 3) WHO knows me and my m3s.
