SOG Mini Trident. I carry it everyday and I love it. I find that the standard Trident is a little too big for my taste.

I have friends with Kershaws and they like them.
I have had Gerber(s), CRKT(s), SOG(s) and a few others... The best BY FAR that I have owned is the SOG FSA-8 (Flash 2 non serrated). Made of VG-10, assisted open that is very fast yet solid. The blade itself is sharp as all hell and rarely needs sharpening... In fact I've NEVER sharpened mine without a problem... with daily use. I purchased one a while back while working for BMW and when I was helping detail a customer car, I think I may have accidentally left it in their trunk x100. Just last month my girl bought me another SOG FSA-8, and it is everything I remember it to be. No other brand has felt and performed to the same (under $120) standard. Will post a pic, -Chris

Sog flash is an awesome edc knife for the price. Only reason I jumped to anything else was having it jacked in the field. Benchmade 585 now since I love the axis locks and just as fast as the sog and definitely sturdy

I have much more expensive knives, I chose the edc my flash 2 over everything else. I love everything about it. Its light weight, the texture on the handle, the blade, and how the clip is recessed so it sits flush in your pocket.

Jesus, I almost forgot about the clip. Wish more knives came like that

![]() Now that you have a tactical-type knife, you should opt for a gentleman's folder for when it's time to break out the suit. Case XX gets my vote for that.
