Aircon re-gas/service
My aircon is blowing hot air on the drivers side.
I suspect this means I need to re-gas, and probably replace one of the hoses to kill an (as yet) undiagnosed leak, I've tried to call Worx but I'm not getting an answer, any one recommend a good Air con place? I've had enough of Melbourne BMW on kings way. |

if it needs re-gassing then that should mean there is a leak as its a closed system. So you might need to get them to find the leak and fix it.

You may need to regas (gas can include a dye visible under ultra violet light) in order for them to find the leak. They will gas and then check it again in a couple of weeks to try and see where the leak is. They can then repair the problem and may need to regas again.

Heaps of threads in the General section about this issue - sometimes it is a simple re-gas and fix the leak, other times it can be more than that (bad valves and other hardware). As fgin said, it's a closed system and therefore definitely a leak somewhere. Good luck!

I'm not going to fix a problem that is "normal" operation, that said I'm also not going to leave a problem unattended. |
