I just need to tighten my fan tomorrow. Anyone in the LA/OC area that can help me out?

^^what he said. I got it off, did what I needed to, then got it back on. Just want to tighten it down.

Usually when you start the car it tightens itself. What happened?

It doesn't tighten itself, that never works they fan will have a vibration that if not fully tightened will cause many failed feels.

Really? I did it to my car like a million times. At one point I had a friend start the car, watch it tighten, and had to break it loose again. After I start the car I check just incase and its still on pretty tight.

must have gotten lucky, I've seen many more disasters not doing it right then hoping for luck.
