Any Louisianian's?

I'm new to the Bimmer world. Have owned mine for a week now, and love it! 05 325ci vert with 13000 miles. I have always been an American man, mostly trucks and muscle cars, but this car may truly convert me. Just wondering if there are any people in the Louisiana area that are part of the Bimmer community too. I know next to nothing about these cars, and in case a problem occurs, it would be nice to have someone in the area to talk about it with.

This is my first BMW. It's 2001 325iT. It's not my daily but I really do love this car.

I'm by no means an expert on these cars but I have been a mechanic for 15 years. And a buddy and I have a mechanic business so between the 2 of us we have over 35 years of combined experience on all different makes. I've worked on a few BMWs recently. They aren't really any more difficult to work on than other brands of cars.

I actually bought my bmw from peake in Kenner. I live in morgan city but work on your end.

Does anyone here in LA have a working PA soft BMW scanner so I can turn off my DRLs and some other programming changes?
I bought one and it will not work.
