door opening and xenon fault?

Hi, I just got myself 2001 320Ci and noticed two problems. first, when I try to unlock the car it will unlock passenger side only if I press button for two times! Is this normal? second, previous owner installed Depo projector headlamps with xenon, works like a dream but I get error on dash for non functional headlamps? any solution? Thanks
