Help me figure out multiplicative adaptation issue
Hi guys, first car is 2001 325xi, with 77K miles.
All vacuum hoses
Both intake boots
Air filter box oring
CAM position sensor exhaust side
Valve at SAP, replaced gasket
I've been battling codes P0171 and P0174, that seem to have gone away since I replaced my fuel filter. Before I replaced the fuel filter, I would reset my adaptations and the multiplicative adaptations would max out at 12% (both banks) within a day or two, SES would follow.
After replacing my fuel filter, the multiplicative adaptations take more than two weeks to max out at 12% (both banks). I ran with those values for about 2 days, but no longer get codes P0171 or P0174. SES no loger comes one either.
So, I'm not sure if what I looking at is still a vacuum leak, bad MAF, bad O2 sensors or if my pump is failing. I tested preassure at the rail about 2 months ago and it was above 50psi (don't remember the exact number).
Also, I'm getting codes: (from INPA)
65 Cam shaft position sensor (intake side)
Car has shut off about 3 times and this code has shown, error not present when pulled
18 Air mass sensor (is this code for the MAF or also for the CPS sensor?)
Error not present when pulled
What do you guys think?
