get the co2 canisters for bb guns and use a servo to puncture it. Or if you cant find one with enough torque you can set up a gearbox assyembly with a small brushed motor that uses a hollow tube to puncture the canister

It's easy to test fit an OEM one. The panel is simple, so you could probably make one pretty easily anyway.

I think I'd rather just put dry ice in my robot before I screw the top lid on. It'd be about $100 cheaper, more compact, and would also keep the electronics cool.
