Or it could be tuned on the stock DME like I said ... I wouldn't list something if it wasn't what was happening. This car WILL NOT be seeing any type of aftermarket ECU.

It's MS43. What are the issues with MS45 that you've heard or ran into?

LUCKY YOU! From what I been told the DME dont like alot of TQ and it has some TQ calculation on the DME that will limit the power. Also, said this DME was ahead of its time and it has so much on it that is useless. Making it that much harder to tune and etc. This is what I heard from 2 Turner so far but we will see what happens.

We are just getting started with the project, none of the fab work has been done yet. Had a problem with one of the piston rings so waiting on a replacement from CP. I am also getting married this Saturday and will be out tomorrow (Friday) and all next week. After the holidays I will update the thread with some motor build pictures and we will be getting started with the fab.

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if Karl/AA or Nick G. have had these issues or were able to overcome them?

I had a 35R before my current , it was perfect for a 9ish compression on the B30

Very interested in following this build as it's nearly identical to what I have in mind for mine when I return from deployment.

I have a couple questions about the fuel delivery system...

What do you plan to use as a fuel pump and what pressure do you hope to achieve at the fuel rail? Will you be using the stock fuel rail? Do you plan to use an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter? If so, can you give details? And lastly, are the Siemens 630cc injectors plug and play (compatible with stock DME) and where can I get my hands on some?

I currently have a turbo kit installed that uses my stock DME and have a pretty good idea of who will be performing the tune on your build. I'll be going to the same tuner when the time comes.

Car already has a walbro hi pressure 255lph intank pump. Planning to use stock lines, rail, and regulator assuming we have no issues. Siemens 630's are plug and play except they are slightly taller than the stock injectors. You will need to use spacers on the rail to bolt it down properly.

Oil squirters cleaned and reinstalled





Crank installed, Raceware main studs torqued, main cap supports installed









Raceware head studs installed with Wurth timeserts





Oil baffle modified for main studs



Shortblock assembled



Head gasket on



Head on and torqued



Cam tray studs installed

Hey guys sorry for the lack of updates, we're still moving with the build, slowly but surely! I've been working a little slow for the last week or so, decided to rip my hand open cutting some metal and have 7 stitches in my hand. It's all good though, it didn't seem to affect my manifold building abilities













Every port welded in and out 360* including runners, wastegate flange, and turbo flange



I'm aware it's not equal length, wasn't going for that. Space was very limited for the manifold placing the turbo where I wanted it. Quick spool, 500whp, this manifold should work nicely!
