Surprise from the wife.. Haha

My wife surprised me with a onesie that she got screenprinted. It says "got e46?" Look's like I have to upgrade to a sedan now. Anybody attempted to put a car seat in the back of a coupe..? Ha ha.

The coupe and sedan are the same minus the doors. It might be a pain in the ass to install but a car seat should go in there if the sedan can have one.

The coupe is wider, longer, and flatter than the sedan. I'd say they are quite different.

Well, the difference in length is so minuscule that you might as well say they are the same. But down to exact measurements, the coupe is longer. It's wider by a slightly larger margin.

The wife because her coupe will be less reliable and cost more to maintain, thus the E46 is the smarter option for the family.

FWIW, we had an Acura Integra coupe all the way through the car seat/booster seat stage with two kids.
It was a little bit of a pain to get into the seat but not a big deal. They also move out of the rear facing situation pretty quick, and once they face front a coupe isn't really different than a sedan.
