Not really. The context I read this in says "you can't afford a new BMW, so you buy an older one just to say you drive a BMW"

When you car shop and drive the new Audis, e9Xs,, F30s, Mercs etc almost buy one and you tell the dealer I need to go home and think about it and when you are driving your e46 back you feel so at home and decide f*&k the new cars, my e46 is much better and I love it and I am keeping it and not buying a new car.

Look at the miles / km + mods rack up and think ..... That is money well spent

-out put shafts (axles)
-rtab's
-expansion tank
