Hey guys, after your opinions on a car... 2011 ML300 vs 2012 ML250. Similar pricing with the newer model being about 5-10k more at around 85-90k (second hand).. Thoughts?

I'd skip both and go for a X5/X6 or Q.

cheers guys, the car is for mum. Basically it needs to be a large family car (4WD) with a stack of features... the x6 is awesome but Mercedes is preferred. Its basically between the ML's. Perhaps a Porsche Cayenne but it's a little more expensive for a half decent one. Anyone had experience with the newer model MLs?

2 of my cousins drive ML's
One is 63 the other 250 diesel I think

They both really like them as daily beaters

The ML250 is awesome, let her drive both and she'll probably like the newer car.

The ML is one of the most comfortable cars I've driven in, would love one for a daily! I wouldn't mind to see a mum in a GL500 though, just when she needs to exert a bit of extra force when taking 6 kids to swimming lessons!

In other news got done this morning for the 1000th time for no P plates. Honestly, P plates are stupid, at least in Victoria they can be displayed from the inside so they don't keep falling off. GRRRRR...

Hey i'm in a similar position. I'm looking at buying either a Range Rover Sport Supercharged 07, RR Sport TDV8 07, X5 V8 07, or ML500 07 model.

What does everyone think? After something 8cyl, not into diesel 6's.. It'll be driven daily, never taken off road. Can anyone help?
