Stippled my Sig, so worth the time!

Decided to buy a soldering iron so I could stipple the Sig. Best $10 investment ever. It took me around 4 hours to do, but it was well worth it. I have so much more grip compared to stock form.

Thanks man. Super easy, but takes a while. Just take the point of the iron and apply slight pressure. I went over all the gaps afterwards. Here is a nice youtube video that shows it in action.

I know a lot of glock guys go this route, and many even use skateboard grip tape.

I could have done it in 2-3 easily, but I was watching TV and my hands shake like a junkie....

You guys really think it looks good? I think it looks meh, but functionally it's great...

Dude, I think it looks factory. Well done.

However, I could never do that to my guns...melting the receiver would be way more than I was prepared to do to get the extra grip. I'd much rather throw some tape on it

If you want a pretty gun, get a 1911. If it's meant to shoot abuse the crap out of it. Gives it character.

Let us know how the stippling works for you under the trigger guard. Curious as to whether that will chew up your fingers or not.
