+1. I did some research, these cars are actually pretty reliable compare to other Audi. And good power/fuel economy. S
ame as e46 M3 fuel economy, 330 performance with Quattro.

This is the only Audi I would own.

Dad is looking to replace his '04 745i so we went to the bmw dealer to look around. Later went to Audi to look at the a7 and a6. It was amazing how messy the buttons were on the Audis were compared to iDrive. Plus the start/stop button is next to the shifter on the a7



VS

The only Audi I would own is a sport Quattro.

my 06 a4 2.0 quattro was a great car. had it up to 45000 miles. still under warranty so all the little stuff i brought in never paid a dime.

went to an 04 m3 and boy that wasa pain in the butt. obviously not comparing apples to apples as the m3 was older.

i actually regret selling the a4 for the M.

We have a 2011 Q5 with 34k on it. Has been great so far, and has only been in for a few things so far (folding mirror motor, rear hatch motor, window weather stripping).

My E46 had a clutch replaced under warranty, a MAF sensor, a door that needed alignment, and control arms.

You're just digging yourself a deeper hole... I'd be willing to bet that just about everyone on here does their belt job without BMW's tool and I've personally never seen a thread where someone messed something up in doing so. Having replaced the belts at least once on all the BMW's I've owned I'd have to say that you'd have to be pretty darn inept to F that up...
