My post-election purchase(s)

I've been pondering getting a 10/22, but after the election, I decided I would get an AK first.

I was shopping for a WASR 10/63, but after I shot my friends Saiga, he convinced me that having a Russian made featureless AK would be better than a Romanian built WASR with a pistol grip.

So I got a Saiga 7.62!

Also, getting it for $405 wasn't a bad deal either.

When we went to the range and I shot my friends Saiga and he convinced me to get one.

My lefty AR on the right, my friends LMT in the middle, and my other friends' Saiga on the right.

I picked up and shot my Saiga for the first time last night. (I drove straight from work)

And a bonus photo: A Pelican 1720 that I got off Craigstlist for $100!

My thoughts: It's an awesome gun, very "raw", very different than my AR. I absolutely HATE the iron sights though. I want to buy a basic red dot or something. My eyesight is too poor. I love the price of the gun, I love the price of the ammo, and I love the fact that it doesn't have a bullet button!

Awsome choice. Now time to convert it, it isnt too difficult to do.

Nice choice, I have one as well with the Tapco pistol grip and shorter stock. It is a great rifle and sooo cheap.

My post election purchase was a Springfield XDM 4.5" 9mm. I'll post pics soon, but I love the thing....possibly more than my Glock (

The only thing I took away from that was you scoring a Pelican case for $100. NICE!!!!
