Book club--Cat's Cradle--NWS
I don't know why the thought popped into my head, but I'll be finishing up my current book (Foundation) and I'm thinking of reading Cat's Cradle again.
Would anyone like to read it along with me and then participate in a discussion about it...just like old people might do? Just a thought...my feelings won't be hurt. Oh, btw, if you haven't read any Vonnegut, this is a great way to start. Too 'whatever' for you folks? Just asking.

So if you run afoul of Bokonist rules, they put you on the hook. It's a very large hook that you 'sit' on...and die on.
They put one person on this hook for walking on the grass in public spaces...afterwards, no one walked on the grass anymore. Oh, there's other stuff in the book too!

First Vonnegut book I ever read. As a side note, I worked with a person named Vonnegut and asked if there was any relation turns out he was their uncle. I commented that he must be an interesting guy to talk to. Apparently he is "that uncle that everyone has, you know, the one no one wants to talk to because he's weird".
