Need a wheel manufacturer- Custom

I need 22.5x 8.5, I need alot of inventory its for a relatively big business. I just need it because it will cut down costs by a large margin if i can get it a manufacturer cost.

Lighter/stronger the better, Magnesium alloy if possible.

I know this is E46F so lol LONG SHOT approach but I knew there are knowledgeable people on this forum.

Contact MHT wheels. They make many wheels on the market including ADV1 and Foose. If trolling, because race-car.

Nah, its been known that ADV1 wheels are manufactured by MHT, just do a search. A bunch of threads will pop up talking about it on different forums.

Enkei will make custom wheels... Minimum order of 40 rims. Their warehouse distributor prices are very low.

40rims, no problem , but i want the cost down to like 30-45 wheel

If I can get under $45 a rim for a magnesium alloy, Im pretty much in business.
Style or looks is a non issue right now, just basic wheels so start it off. I appreciate everyones help.

You're best served by contacting them directly because I've been out of the wheel business for almost 10 years.

But I think Alcoa doesn't do mag, only aluminum. I also think mag isnt suitable for heavy truck wheels. And my sense is that I may be wasting your time suggesting Alcoa because they're nowhere close to the prices you're talking about.

I was gonna say....Alcoa makes OEM wheels for Lambos, and I'm pretty sure they are nowhere NEAR 45 a wheel...maybe $945 a wheel.

So at $50x40rims = $2,000 total. For custom magnisum wheels in 22"x8.5". Dont think its going to happen, but if you do let me know ill design some wheels of my own too.

I would buy 40rims if they were $50ea no problem. I dont even want 22x8.5 I'll take some 18x9.5 or 10. srs if someone know how to make that happen i'm in.

For 45 bucks a piece you are looking at nothing but cast aluminum. You aint gettin' forged wheels made for 45 bucks.

BTW OP, a 22" wheel, an SUV wheel no less made out of magnesium will bend as soon as you hit a small pothole. Youre going to be buying back all your customers' bent wheels.

Do you know the quantity Im looking for?
I know alot, i mean a shitload about Logistics work ,import/export...pretty much anything that involves moving products. Ive lol pretty much been gathering knowledge from a very young age.

LOL Im sorry but yes Magnesium alloy wheels are ludacris for what im suggesting $45/wheel is nuts from a start off point of view but its not impossible.

The whole concept of it being suitable for the application. Is it possible to be used the way im going to be using it for. Im heavily researching and doing my due diligence before doing something stupid.

Is $25/wheel for aluminum alloy too much to dream of? for 22.5x 8.5 or 22.5x10?

Correct me if im wrong because I dont know 100%, but I cant find a big enough reason why Magnesium alloys cant be used in this enviorment except for the fact for tire blowouts and fires. Which are non-issue most of the time because normal operations/policy will still make drivers and company maintenance check up tire and rims. Only thing im worried about is accidental blowouts which might cause a fire, even then these metals dont heat up as much as steel or aluminum. If they are safe enough for racing, why are they not safe enough for street use.

Once again all criticism, issues, or questions that might arise will be a great help.

I have a set of mag wheels from my old bike.
Lets just say they don't like hard hits much.
Magnesium also degrades and essentially rots away when exposed to air. So make sure the paint stays sealed.

My were retail $2800/pr new. At 17x3.5/6"
No way you're getting mag car wheels for anything near cheap. Even if its just the centers it's still gonna cost a pretty penny.

Count me in for a set of 22.5" wheels at $45 / wheel. Hell, I'll buy a dozen.

Raw aluminum alloy costs about $0.95/lb on the spot market. That doesn't include shipping. You're probably talking at least 25 lbs for a 22" wheel. I don't see how anyone could build you a rim for $45 when the raw material costs about half of that.
