I have a girlfriend. I also stay very busy with my cars and work. She was my best friend. I can't just replace that

All I can say is it will take a long time unless you get closure (which is unlikely).

I had a situation like this that happened over a decade ago and it still comes to mind. I even had a few outings and run ins with her afterward (a few yrs later after complete silence), but those wounds cut deep and they still sting a little if I really think about it.

Eventually it will be a distant memory, but for now, just look at whatever is positive in your life. I wouldn't count on getting closure, so just have your mindset accordingly. If you happen to run into her, chalk it up to a happy coincidence...your heart will probably pound out of your chest. You'll still likely have dreams for years to come.

Once you find the right woman for you, you'll wonder why you ever dwelled on it...at least that is what happened for me.

She left, and she's gone. You have your girl friend. Doesnt matter if the other girl was just a friend or side fling, if you are serious about your girlfriend then you have to forget about this other girl. If you really love your girlfriend and planning a future with her, you should keep her happy too. Girls are possessive(very). May be your girlfriend saw her as a threat.
I have been in a similar position and I can tell you for sure that the other girl(if she is a real friend) will understand and never cross your path. If she is trash talking about your girlfriend or you behind your back, she was never a friend.

Do you want a guy to be your girl friend's best friend? You might not ask him to leave but you will always have that little fear.
Human instinct is to scare away the competition. Hence, what your girlfriend did.

Try and forget about it, there are other things in life to worry about.

i've always gotten along better with girls than guys.
i've been doing ok lately. the last couple of days have been rough, especially today, because i've had dreams about her.

Interesting, I feel like the watermelons are too big though. Id go with cantaloupes so you can slam it more!

cantaloupes might not have enough fender clearence...I'd think something slightly different like honeydew would be perfect.

I like the effect that the watermelon stripes give when moving. Almost like spinners except they taste better
