Stick with my 330ci ZHP or upgrade to this?
I have an 06 ZHP Fully loaded that is in the shop for a thermostat issue however I know I should spend the extra cash and replace the expansion tank, the water pump, and my drive belts. When I was walking out to get my loaner I saw this http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1
I took a look inside and talked to a sales guy about it. My dilemma is I have 3 years left on my ZHP for financing should I pick this up and finance for 3 years or keep my ZHP which currently has close to 90k on the clock. I love the M3 but I'm not entirely sure if its worth it. |

Do you track? I think ZHP's are perfect for daily use. An M3 is faster but pointless if you don't it to the track. It's not worth the money or speeding tickets. Lol. Maybe look into 335i's.

I don't think it matters if you track and in my opinion there isn't a relationship between fast cars and speeding tickets, I see more slow cars pulled over for speeding than fast ones in fact. Your car is creeping up on the period where you will start having to throw money at it to refresh it, the m3 will cost more to keep up but is also a nicer and better car, either way it's gonna cost you. I vote for the m3.

Don't buy it...
at least until I can test drive it. I was checking auto trader for local M3s to check out and I stumbled upon this one. It looks really sweet. There's also a black/cinnamon M3 vert at Paul Miller that has 1,000 miles on it. Yes, 1,000. They want $46,000 for it. Last edited by avincent52; 12-08-2012 at 07:16 PM. |

Decided against it. Reading all the stuff about SMG problems scared me straight. Dumped the money in fixing the ZHP. I went this morning to pick it up and saw it was sold by some guy from King of Prussia. Good luck to him.

It said the car was a 6 speed manual, but there were no interior pics to confirm it.
In any case, the ZHP should serve you well. Drove to Willowbrook Mall today and in the middle of two spots at the farthest end of the parking lot was an Imola Red ZHP sedan. Man (or woman) after my own heart. |
