The Mediadevil is what you're looking for. It is actually hard to see that the phone has a protector at all from about a foot away. Normally I can see the cutouts for the camera, ear speaker and home button, but on the Mediadevil they blend in from more than a foot away.

The SGP also seemed to wash the colors out the slightest amount- and the Mediadevil doesn't.

In my pictures of the Speck Candyshell grip you can just barely see that the Mediadevil protector is on the screen.

I have already spent too much money on cases and protectors, but eventually I will probably get that or the bodyguardz pure glass protector.

Price: $4 (Free with $3.95 shipping)
Lay on table design (raised screen lip): Yes
Shock protection: no idea
Fit: Fits well, secure. Maybe a slight bit loose where a corner can pop part of the way out in your pocket.
Problems: It took 6 full weeks to arrive, because it was a pre-order
Texture/Grip: Textured edges, not rubbery, slightly flexible.
Screen protector compatible: Yes
Pros: It does the job and is cheap
Cons: Not worth the $15 normal price, not worth the long wait when "free"

Installed the glass screen protecter. Things went....good, not great, but good. Lol! Will post pics this afternoon.

I just dropped my iPhone 5. I guess I should get a case,but I'm waiting for morphie to release it's battery case.

Don't buy the lifeproof case. I never bash companies but this product sucks for the iPhone 5. It was shipped to me, undid the water test and everything was good. Put my phone in and all seemed like it got really well. First call comes in and it sounds like the person is in a bathroom, but they weren't. And they couldn't hear a thing I was saying. I called lifeproof and they said they haven't heard of this problem. They offered to send me another one. Okay I go for that. Same exact thing with the second one. I call again to get the refund process going and they said it can take up to 30 days from the time the receive the cases back. Still haven't been refunded yet.
