?Air Bag Sensor? Stage 2 Fault?
Ladies and Gents,
it's been along time since I've been back from Asia so I hope all is well with the forum and your families! I keep getting this damn airbag light on the dash when ever the outside temp fluctuates from 50f to 40f. had a scan done a couple of times and it's a stage two code when scanned. I had it looked at and the shop went through the connectors and gave them a lil diode-electro grease (lithium from what I remember from being in auto tech schooling.) I'm looking for anticipation of what to expect on this. Any thoughts are appreciated. -Danny |

Possibly a bad clip on the 2nd stage ignitor connector, which is causing the connector to wiggle out during temperature changes like that and not allow it to hold in place.
This is not a total impossibility: at work, there was one projector in a classroom in particular that would lose power for no reason a few times a year. We found that the power connection wiggled itself slightly out after a long period of time and in-between seasons. It was still in the socket, but no connection was made. Our only explanation was that the expansion/contraction wiggled the connector loose.

Sorry, yeah I worked with projectors and expensive audio/video equipment at my old job.
